Philosophy

     LVCS is dedicated to providing a well-rounded vocational program that will help students become highly trained clinical massage therapists. We offer a comprehensive approach to massage and wellness training by utilizing the standard practices of lecture and skills training, however we also elevate the learning process by adding research and group projects. An integrated medical internship to help students with a real world training component to further support the learning process and personal growth of our students.

     We are devoted to the maintaining and building a safe and challenging classroom environment. Educated, experienced, and dedicated faculty provide both hands-on and theoretical research training that focuses on teaching students to stand out in the massage therapy industry. We believe that graduates of our program will go into the field as skilled practitioners, capable of understanding research and the current industry trends, ready to work as clinical massage therapists focused in providing wellness programs for future clients.

     LVCS is devoted to the growth and advancement of massage therapy and wellness. Therefore, our curriculum is designed to provide our students with the process for mastering established massage methods, approaching their work creatively, which allows them to contribute to the development of the massage and wellness industry in the future.

The Director of (LVCS) has maintained her personal massage business, Dodge the Stress, since August of 2000. Stephanie holds a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology Community Health Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Counseling, Applied Behavioral Science from Mid-America Christian University.
